First-appearance indexes
A first-appearance index is for collectors who pulled a character cover and want the debut story, not a random later costume. Portal Route Grid records the issue number, the creative team as printed, and the next two or three chapters that still belong to that origin before a reboot or retcon rearranges it.
Marvel NFT comics sometimes lead with a variant that shows a later armor. The index separates cover costume from interior chronology so a reader does not start in the middle of a resurrection arc.
We also mark cameo panels that are not true debuts: a silhouette in a crowd, a name in a police file, a post-credits tease. Those notes stop a checklist from treating a cameo as the origin.
Indexes stay review-oriented. Character names appear as they do on the printed credits; Portal Route Grid is not an official Marvel encyclopedia and does not claim studio access.
If you already hold several drops of the same hero, send a list by email or describe it on a call. The index will place those files against the debut path.
